Episcopal Campus is the main location for Temple University Hospital’s behavioral health services. These include 74 adult inpatient psychiatric beds 44 adult extended psychiatric beds a full-service outpatient program for adults and children and one of only four emergency Crisis Response Centers in Philadelphia. Episcopal Campus’s Behavioral Health Center serves patients with a wide variety of psychiatric disorders and is staffed by board-certified Temple psychiatrists psychologists registered nurses behavioral health therapists and social workers. Services offered include: Medication management Inpatient consultation Individual and group psychotherapy Psychological testing Neuropsychological testing A co-occurring disorders program for people with both a psychiatric disorder and alcohol/drug abuse Special programs to treat anxiety depression phobias and psychological issues related to medical problems Specialists in psychopharmacology geriatrics child psychiatry pain management and smoking cessation 23-hour observation beds for patients who don’t require an inpatient admission Certified medical interpreters and other translation services.
